SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have a panel on top - order from left: Application Menu, Global Menu and so on
2. Use a fullscreen app (in this case World of Tanks using Lutris)
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
Application Menu randomly getting focused kicking user out of their fullscreen application

EXPECTED RESULT
Stay in fullscreen application until e.g I Alt-Tab

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The issue stopped happening once I assigned some shortcut in "Keyboard Shortcuts" section in my example it was Num 1 + Num 2

Were you by any chance pressing both Alt and Shift at the same time while playing the game? If doing that immediately makes Application Menu open, then this is Bug 491644.

Alt+Shift has no effect. It's not kicking out of full screen.

But what I noticed is that when Application Menu gets the focus, the focus is in the "Search Bar"

You were right. I was pressing Alt then Shift, pressing Shift first then Alt causes the issue. Sorry for the time wasted. Kind regards
