Thank you for the bug report! Reports should not contain multiple completely distinct issues, as it makes it much harder to act on and track them. It will get confusing which issue someone is talking about. May i ask you to file a separate report for your issues with Wayland and with sound? We can then use this report to investigate your issues with the panel not showing up on X11. After you added your own panel, does it show up correctly and only the default panel is missing? Can you test a new user account and see if the panel shows up there correctly? Do you use an external monitor/other screen with your laptop? Yes, I will file a separate report thank you. After adding my own panel it does show up and not the default one. I did extensive testing before submitting the report, even with a new user account, the panel still doesn't show up on X11. No external monitor, just the same one that it came manufactured with. Also, how would I file a bug for wayland, then sound? Thanks for reporting back! Regarding the sound issue, I'd usually assume that the problem is somewhere lower in the stack, but if it works under X11 but does not work under Wayland Plasma or one of the components might be involved. I have no idea where to report this, maybe Plasmashell and then someone can move the report when we know more. It would definitely be relevant how the sound is connected and which one does not work - phone plug, Bluetooth, HDMI etc. KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.5.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 Kernel Version: 6.10.8-arch1-1 (64 bit) So yes, let's get that separate report for sound. |
