The severity field isn't documented, so the "critical", "grave", "major", "normal" "minor", and "task" fields' explicit purposes aren't well described. As an example, choosing between "critical", "grave", and "major" isn't intuitive.

In general this isn't something bug reporters need to care about. The field is mostly an internal thing for the benefit of developers.

Thanks for the link. Perhaps copy that link to https://bugs.kde.org/page.cgi?id=fields.html#bug_severity? It seems strange to have a help link in Bugzilla that directs to the wrong documentation.
