leaf icon in its splendour

SUMMARY

My systray does not show a battery percentage but just a leaf icon.

The right-click option "% Show battery percentage ..." is checked.
Hovering or clicking on the icon shows accurate information - plasma can identify all about the battery, it's just not showing the information.

This happens regardless of whether the battery is full or not, plugged or not.

Whatever situation the battery is in, all I see is a green leaf.

Adding the power widget to the panel does not make a difference, I just get another, bigger leaf icon.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

Asahi Linux Fedora 40

KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.5.0
Qt Version: 6.7.2

Thank you for this report!

The behavior of the power profile icons is changed in Plasma 6.2; instead of replacing the battery icon, the power profile (leaf or rocket) will show as an emblem on the battery icon - at least as long as the icon theme supports it, which the default icon theme does. (For more information, see https://invent.kde.org/plasma/powerdevil/-/merge_requests/399.)

Plasma 6.2 will be released in early October.
