STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open menu
2. press shutdown button

EXPECTED RESULT
don't move don't

this problem occurred on both manjaro and kubuntu both without out of the box modifications

Are you really using Mangonel? Can you attach a screen recording that shows the issue happening?
