I think I am experiencing this as well with the most recent version of konsole from the Arch repos (24.12.0) and the latest flatpak version (24.12.0). I've tried to debug to see if I'm doing something wrong, but couldn't find anything after a couple of hours of trying. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.9.0 Qt Version: 6.8.1 Kernel Version: 6.12.6-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 16 × 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-11700K @ 3.60GHz Memory: 31.2 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080/PCIe/SSE2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I originally thought this might be an issue with the flatpak version of konsole, since all the tabs are titled "flatpak-spawn", so I thought it could be some isolation thing preventing it from working. But I installed konsole from the Arch repos as well, and the same happens there. This has worked before for me, when I was running some version of Kubuntu (I can try to figure out which one if needed). However, I recently installed Arch instead, from the start my tabs would always open in my home directory regardless of the setting, so it could very well be some configuration or system issue that I've been doing wrong from the start. I'm still a noob with Arch. I'm struggling to find information on how KDE wants their bugtracking to be done, but as a suggestion, should we maybe update this issue's Platform field to Arch and the Version field to 24.12.0 to reflect the fact that this still happens with the newest version of konsole? |
