SUMMARY

I just wanted to edit a post that was very long - I sent it as an answer.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Answer to a post
2. Create an answer that is very long
3. Submit
4. Edit again - there is no text in the text field.

24.05 is old, can you test and see if this is a problem on 24.08 for you? It is not reproducible for me.
