SUMMARY
In Android, the KDE Connect app has a setting "Trusted networks" that restricts autodiscovery to a chosen list of networks. Please add this setting to the desktop version of KDE Connect as well.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is similar to Bug 336726 but different.
The motivation for this request is that I was sitting in a talk at Akademy and received a pairing request from an unknown device. Limiting pairing requests to trusted networks would prevent this.
Also, this would prevent pairing spam as reported in Bug 336726
