Veloren crash 5 plasma-kwin_wayland
The problem is I didn't experienced this crash under COSMIC Wayland and GNOME Wayland sessions, only KDE Plasma Wayland does that. I need a backtrace for kwin_wayland, not from the apps. You can get it with > coredumpctl debug kwin_wayland (In reply to reports_go_brrr from comment #9) > The problem is I didn't experienced this crash under COSMIC Wayland and > GNOME Wayland sessions, only KDE Plasma Wayland does that. That doesn't matter, it's still a driver bug. ๐๐งน โ ๏ธ This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days. Please provide the requested information, then set the bug status to REPORTED. If there is no change for at least 30 days, it will be automatically closed as RESOLVED WORKSFORME. For more information about our bug triaging procedures, please read https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Bug_triaging. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone! TL;DR: Use VK_ICD_FILENAMES=/etc/vulkan/icd.d/nvidia_icd.json environment variable. https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Vulkan#Selecting_vulkan_driver Explained me well. I suspect Nvidia 555 series drivers invented this unwanted extra. |
