STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. start kmymoney build from git master branch
2. open appended test file
3. Inspect category "Ausgabe (USA)"

OBSERVED RESULT
When adding the mentioned category, the currency โ€œUSDโ€ was selected, but after saving the category, the currency is displayed as โ€œEURโ€. This behavior can be reproduced by adding a new category.

EXPECTED RESULT
The selected currency of a new category should be available after saving.

Unable to reproduce this with current master neither on Linux nor on Windows. Did it get resolved in the meantime?
