Created attachment 173460 [details] screen cast showing the problem. SUMMARY With a few tabs and a full screen application (such as mc or watch), Konsole screen flickers constantly. Aside from being really annoying, this messes up with selecting text - as the flicker clears the text selection. STEPS TO REPRODUCE Reproduction is unstable for me, but generally I can get it to flicker by: 1. Start a few tabs, in each run something that blocks the shell, such as tailing a log file, journal or dmesg. 2. In the last tab, run a full screen app such as MC or `watch` on something. 3. try to select text off the screen (when using MC, remember to hold SHIFT). OBSERVED RESULT The screen flickers every few seconds, and any text selected is cleared. EXPECTED RESULT The screen should not flicker and text selection should remain until the user clears it.
