This may be that Dolphin does not always notice/automatically refresh after tag changes. Often you need to press F5 to refresh ... ... Bug 401019 and Bug 389692 |
Created attachment 173387 [details] Video showcase SUMMARY If I remove single tag which was used by one file from that file, It still presents several seconds as a Ghost Tag. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Dolphin 2. Locate to the folder which has file or folder with exclusive Tag binded to it. 3. Remove it through Right Click upon file or folder -> Move to "Assign Tags" Context Menu -> Move to exclusive Tag -> Click on it to remove it. 4. If you want to remove it from "Tags" column, then press F5. 5. Wait several seconds until it'll become completely unavailable through Context menu I described in step 3. 6. Try your luck by pressing F5 to make it faster to find out if Tag disappeared completely. 7. Done. OBSERVED RESULT The tag stays still until I reload folder and wait several seconds for it to disappear completely. EXPECTED RESULT I wish it will disappear immediately, without any need to wait or reload the folder. Without any action from me after it's removal. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: EndeavourOS KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.5.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 Kernel Version: 6.10.7-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Latest packages are installed. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Vanilla Dolphin, vanilla EndeavourOS installed OS. Baloo is enabled and uses default settings. P.S. Graphical thing on video DOESN'T affect the behavior of Dolphin. Already tested it on other machine.
