When dragging segments on the timeline, it is very slow, the computer freezes for a few seconds.

But if I use the “insert spaces” tool, the video segments move instantly.

Is it possible to make them move as fast as they do when using the “insert spaces” tool?

Move multiple clips at once should be fast now. Please check with the latest Kdenive version.

Please tell me which version to check? git or 08/24/1?

Checked it in version 24.08.02. It works faster. Thanks
