Just realized it's here on Ctrl+X, Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V as well. How we can disable this mode entirely? I can't find an option at all. Hi mozo, As a workaround I can recommend you to do next: 1. Go to Menu list (F10) 2. Go to "Configure" and "Configure Keyboard Shortcuts" (Ctrl+Alt+,) 3. Find Shortcuts by enter in search F2 and Ctrl 4. Select custom shortcuts as primary ones, which will have None by default. Indeed I haven't found this setting to disable that feature in Dolphin. Thanks reports_go_brrr, But it doesn't work for me: https://i.imgur.com/aQVsMfg.png And it still activates Selection mode when I press F2. What's the point of this mode? Many people don't want it for it's pretty useless and there's no way to disable it. It's sad KDE team offers unwanted extras. +1. I use the F2 shortcut to rename files, but quite often accidentally trigger edit mode and then always needing to hit ESC or click 'Exit'. I'd love to see an option to disable it. Space bar also triggers it. I believe this feature is more useful for touch screens and Plasma Mobile, it was recently mentioned here: https://blogs.kde.org/2024/10/20/this-week-in-kde-apps/ |
