SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open process monitor

OBSERVED RESULT
Consumes 80-100% of a core which is no good when trying to end an "appless" process eating the entire CPU.

EXPECTED RESULT
Like plasma 5 or earlier where it consumes a sane CPU and can share CPU space with more hungry software without freezing.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

Operating System: Fedora Linux 41
KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.5.0
Qt Version: 6.7.2
Kernel Version: 6.11.0-0.rc5.43.fc41.x86_64 (64-bit)

Memory: 15.5 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
META+ESC bringing up the entirely useless Overview screen even if it is not on top also bothers me. Is there a way to change that or am I filing another bug.
