SUMMARY
This is a wish
Between session, keep the "option" Show Focus Point for Preview and LightTable
Eventually the same for "Show Faces Tags"

Like the display of face regions, the focus points are not saved across sessions. This is intentional, also for performance reasons, since the focus metadata is not currently in the database.
