SUMMARY
On Wayland, Krita pauses/lags for a few seconds between tool changes.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Launch Krita on a Wayland session
2. Create a new image
3. Switch between tools and a big pause happens in between

OBSERVED RESULT
A big pause happens in between tool selections

EXPECTED RESULT
Immediate tool change, as on X11 session.

When running the krita appimage or my build of krita in Neon's wayland session, I cannot reproduce this. Please try the appimage?
