Same question. A new remote desktop icon is created in the tray every time I try to connect, but no actual connection has ever been successful.

Can you confirm you were running under wayland?

This bug is likely caused by an outdated version of Pipewire. After Neon is upgraded to 24.04, the issue no longer occurs with Krdp.
