SUMMARY

Maximize Icon Disappears After Opening Kdenlive Multiple Times

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

Install Kdenlive version 24.05.2 using Snap, GNOME Software Center, or Kdenlive.AppImage.
Launch Kdenlive for the first time and verify that the maximize icon is present and functional.
Close Kdenlive and reopen the application.
Observe if the maximize icon is still visible.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 two or three times and check if the maximize icon disappears.
OBSERVED RESULT

After opening Kdenlive 2 or 3 times, the maximize icon disappears, making it difficult to view the bottom part of the Kdenlive window while editing projects.

EXPECTED RESULT

The maximize icon should remain visible and functional regardless of how many times Kdenlive is opened and closed.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The issue occurs regardless of whether Ubuntu is running on Wayland.
The problem is observed in Kdenlive version 24.05.2 installed via Snap, GNOME Software Center, and Kdenlive.AppImage.
Screenshots or videos demonstrating the missing maximize icon and the issue with the bottom part of the Kdenlive window can be attached if needed.

I cannot reproduce the error (appimage 24.05.2 on Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS which is based on Ubuntu 22.04). Even after 5 repetitions the maximize icon (and all other icons) are still present and functional.

Is that true ?
One of my friends also experienced the same thing as me when using Kdenlive
on Ubuntu 22.04 with the maximize icon not appearing and not working.
Okay, maybe I should do some more research. It seems to only be on my and
my friend's PC.
