I often use Genview to edit/resize screenshots/pictures. Unfortunately, the saved edited version has not the time of the moment when the screenshot/picture was made. This is annoying and puts pictures/ screenshots out of the order they were originally made. I wish there was an option to keep the date/time unchanged.

I can confirm this.
Editing the picture in Gwenview updates Modified and Created dates. I would expect that the Created date would stay the same and only Modified be updated.
