SUMMARY
Pkcon progress bar visually overwrites previously printed text and doesn't look good.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Run pkcon update
2. Enter "Y" at prompt

OBSERVED RESULT
Progress bar overwrites text

EXPECTED RESULT
Progress bar appears at bottom and does not overwrite existing text.

Linux/KDE Plasma: 6.1.3
KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.4.0
Qt Version: 6.7.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This appears to be the same bug as this: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=447098. However, it has never been fixed for me.
Also, I am on wayland, if that matters.

I believe that this is the exact same issue as portrayed in the bug that the user has reported under additional information.
If someone thinks otherwise, let me know.
