Same issue in System Monitor. I guess it's a general thing with QML? I'm using Noto Sans 10 pt with RGB subpixel rendering and Hinting set to Slight.

It's a known issue that can happen with current versions of Qt in some cases... you seem to be heavily affected. There's workarounds in the linked bug report. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 479891 *** |
Created attachment 172269 [details] screenshot I have global scaling set to 130 % on a 4K display on Wayland. As shown in the attached screenshot, a particular task (third from the left) in the text-and-icons task manager has really bad font rendering. It affects this position specifically, if I switch KWrite with Firefox then the KWrite task will be rendered badly. If I open enough applications to cause the tasks to shring in width, the issue disappears. Please bring back the "force font DPI" option.
