Description Ilya Bizyaev 2024-08-03 12:07:23 UTC
SUMMARY
The primary case I can see myself using a CLI tool instead of KInfoCenter is when the system is borked and I cannot get to the desktop environment. This is currently not possible with `kinfo`:

$ DISPLAY= WAYLAND_DISPLAY= kinfo

This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Available platform plugins are: eglfs, linuxfb, minimal, minimalegl, offscreen, vkkhrdisplay, vnc, xcb, wayland-egl, wayland.
