SUMMARY
Digikam fails to preview animated .webp files

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add an animated .webp image (WebP_Flags metadata contains "Animation") to the collection.
2. Select the .webp file.
3. Go to the Preview view.

OBSERVED RESULT
"An error has occurred with the media player..." message is displayed

EXPECTED RESULT
The animation to be run just like with animated .gif files.

Well, it is a 9 year old wish for FFmpeg to support the Webp animation format. There is nothing we can do at the moment. It is also an unknown file format for the Windows Media backend in QtMultimedia.
