SUMMARY
Windows position themselves halfway off the bottom of my screen upon waking my computer from sleep and logging in. I have an external monitor attached to the right of my main laptop screen (not below).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect an external monitor.
2. Lock laptop screen.
3. Close laptop.
4. Open laptop and log in.

OBSERVED RESULT
All my windows, that were previously centred on my laptop screen, are positioned halfway off the bottom of my laptop screen.

EXPECTED RESULT
Windows to not have changed position upon logging back in.

I additionally encountered this behavior again today when *plugging in* an external monitor. I have not been able to reliably reproduce this source, though.

This is similar to another bug that we have diagnosed with clients being misplaced on other monitors. We'll treat this as a dupe, for now.

Hmm, I think this is probably a different bug (only happened since KWin 6.1.3, positions windows halfway off instead of entirely off, happens when waking from sleep) but they certainly sound similar enough to be related. I'll follow along there.
