When using the "Press bottom-right corner" option instead of the "Press anywhere with two fingers" option, tap-to-click is ignored. It works in the latter case.

1. Enable Tap to Click in Touchpad settings
2. Enable Press bottom-right corner to right click
3. Tap bottom right corner - nothing
4. Press bottom right corner - works

OBSERVED RESULT
No click on taping the corner, left or right.

Right click on tapping the corner.

Also related https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=466166 because the entire right-click menu options are messy.

If this behavior is EXPECTED, it should be noted down in the option that it ignores tap-to-click.
