SUMMARY

After installing 8.4.0, digiKam complains that it can't find exiftool. The exe is right there in c:\Program Files\digiKam, but even after I point digiKam to the app, it fails to recognize it. If I install exiftool externally and point digiKam to it, everything is fine.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Comment 1 Aaron Sherber 2024-07-19 13:50:12 UTC
Similar to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=488222, except that installing an external exiftool worked for me.
Comment 2 caulier.gilles 2024-07-19 13:51:32 UTC
This is already fixed in next 8.5.0 release.

You can download 8.5.0 pre-release installer here :
