Hello guys,

Recently, a weird bug started to appear. When I drag multiple files from Dolphin to Firefox drag and drop area, only one file appear. See for yourself --> https://jsfiddle.net/9C2EF/ It only relates to Firefox and KDE/Dolphin. I tested in Google Chrome and in GNOME everything works as it should be.

Bug appears in: Firefox 128/130/private mode. 
An array of files should appear in JS `event.dataTrasfer.files[]` (instead I see only one, last one)

We did have quite a bit of trouble with drag and drop to sandboxed applications (in Kubuntu Firefox is sandboxed because it is provided as a snap by default)  in the past. Your Dolphin 22.04 falls into the time frame in which this was an issue. There is a good chance everything would work fine with newer versions of Dolphin.

I have also experienced this issue since updating to Plasma 6.

Kernel Version: 6.6.46-1-MANJARO (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
Processors: 20 × 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-12700K
Memory: 31.1 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 580 Series

Firefox: 129.0.1 (64-bit) for Manjaro; AFAIK, it isn't sandboxed.

The following apps have this issue:
Dolphin 24.05.2-1
Gwenview 24.05.2-1
kfind 24.05.2-1

From vscode 1.92.1-1, zero files are dropped, and to Dolphin - only one. But probably bug 483645 is involved here

Cannot reproduce using the JSFiddle. 

Please confirm if this is still an issue with Qt 6.8

Got an update with Qt 6.8.0 today - the problem still persists (Dolphin 24.08.03-1 and Firefox 133.0-1).

Since recently the bug has gone. I currently have Qt 6.8.1, Dolphin 24.12.1-1, Firefox 135.0-1.
