SUMMARY
Since diagrams can be opeed by Labplot, it does make no sense if afterwards it is not possible to do something with, e. g. export as a picture. Therefore, I stronkly recommend to add the possibility to export the diasgram as a picture with any formate possible. I am still waiting for the release of the version 2.11 or did I overlook it?

It is possible to export to different formats. Please check the documentation on https://userbase.kde.org/LabPlot/ImportExport/Export.
