icon effects

Icons effects are not applied with KF6

I have these entries in kdeglobals, these work with KDE 4 and 5:

With KF6 I can see the effects in the Select Icon dialog window but not in Dolphin.

The ability to configure icon effect in the UI was removed a long time ago in Plasma 5.16. If you manually apply the config it is somewhat respected, but only inconsistently as you discovered. We are not planning to bring this feature back, sorry.
