if i drag a desktop file/folder to a different spot, then hover over a different file/folder, the file i moved might jump back.

artix linux (base install), plasma, wayland. all packages up to date.

bug 482572 sounds a bit similar but i'm only using one monitor, and it doesn't just "briefly" jump back, it jumps back and stays back.

actually you don't even need to hover over a different icon. you just need to move your mouse away from where you dropped the file.

I can reproduce this sometimes.

This was fixed for the final Plasma 6.2 release.
