SUMMARY

See the attached video for a more clear demonstration. Essentially, when trying to search for an application and then delete the search text, the launcher inadvertently launches whatever was selected before the search component was started.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open the application launcher. By default, the first item in favourites should be selected.
2. Start typing to search for an application.
3. Hover over the search results so that the search text becomes unselected
4. Click the button to clear the search text

OBSERVED RESULT

An app is inadvertently launched

EXPECTED RESULT

Text is cleared and the launcher returns to the previous screen
