I'd really like the same thing - the option to rotate the current snap-points by 90° clockwise/counter-clockwise. Would make sense to default to On for Vertical monitors. Using the "tiling" is a hacky solution that requires pressing 'Shift' just to move a window into the obvious snap location, and those tiles semi-permanently resize if you resize a window, as opposed to the usual snapping, which is always 50% (and it also has its own problems).
