Description Santiago Jose Lopez Borrazas 2024-07-12 14:19:32 UTC
Application: plasmashell (5.27.11)
 (Compiled from sources)
Qt Version: 5.15.13
Frameworks Version: 5.115.0
Operating System: Linux 6.9.8-amd64 x86_64
Windowing System: X11
Distribution: Debian GNU/Linux trixie/sid
DrKonqi: 5.27.11 [CoredumpBackend]

-- Information about the crash:
I was typing something with the web browser, and as soon as I finish, I press Meta + Shift + 0, it closes both the KDE panel and the desktop. It took me about 15~20 seconds to get both the panel and the desktop back.

I didn't do anything special. Just to give me control, but the Alt + Tab combination didn't stop working.

I have never seen a failure of this caliber.

Also, I've been getting a weird shutdown of Discover (to update the system).

The crash can be reproduced sometimes.

Thank you for your bug report!

Debian advises users to not submit bugs upstream (https://www.debian.org/Bugs/Reporting), as this version of the KDE software is out of support from KDE, and so it's possible that the bug exists only in Debian at this point.
Could you report the bug to Debian using the report bug utility (https://packages.debian.org/stable/utils/reportbug)? If necessary, the maintainer of the package will forward the bug upstream.

Thanks for understanding!
