Hi and thanks for your report. Yes, kioworker.exe is a helper to access various file/network protocols, part of the KDE Frameworks: https://invent.kde.org/frameworks/kio/-/tree/master/src/kioworker?ref_type=heads I am however not sure why it triggers this alert, I will try to ask some KDE Frameworks developers if they have any hint on it and will get back to you. Thank you, I was pretty sure it was OK but just wanted to make sure. Kdenlive still seems to work OK with it blocked but will add it to Avast's exception list as I'm sure it must be doing something under the hood! |
