Description andreas.schmeja 2024-07-03 20:25:37 UTC
SUMMARY
When moving the mouse between displays sometimes a copy of the cursor gets left behind on the previous display
The copy disappears after a while
This does not happen when a window is touching the edge, but only directly on the desktop

This is only a visual effect and the mouse remains usable
The effect does not appear on screen recordings
I am using a Lenovo USB Dock to connect to the monitors

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use a laptop with two monitors connected through a DisplayLink USB-Dock
2. Move mouse between two screens

OBSERVED RESULT
A copy of the cursor remains on the previous screen

EXPECTED RESULT
The cursor passes to the other screen without leaving a copy behind

I cannot reproduce.
Can you confirm if this is still an issue, on Plasma 6.5 and reopen if so.
