Description bug2017 2024-07-02 15:39:19 UTC
SUMMARY
If the HW clock gets set to a default date in the past by removing the battery or deep discharge and the time gets updated for example by ntp, a huge amount of notifications is generated.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have a calendar with (a lot) expired entries.
2. Set the clock into the past of these entries
3. Use ntp to update the clock

OBSERVED RESULT
Notification sound played in a loop.
3 notification boxes shown, closing them opens the next ones.
(The notification boxes have different size, so closing them is really annoying)

EXPECTED RESULT
No notifications of expired entries.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

Linux/KDE Plasma:
KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.1
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.3.0
Qt Version: 6.7.2

Same happens on plasma 5
