Flickr service may not be available in your country at the moment. Here in Germany I have no problems uploading images with digiKam. Maik Ok, I didn't read your text completely, but I understand now. Maik Hi Mark Thank you for your feedback. As you understood, the Flickr service is available in my country ( i'm from Italy ) but the problem is transitory and temporary. When the upload starts, images are sent successfully to the Flickr platform. However, after a certain amount of time, the upload may fail due to "Service currently unavailable" or " Write operation failed". The error depends on Flickr and cannot be reproduced manually. The upload continue without any error if i retry it manually after few seconds. My proposal is the implementation of a retry mechanism for these scenarios. Should you have additional doubts or questions, please let me know Thank you Fabio Hi, Any updates for this kind of bug? Thank you, Fabio The OAuth library currently used is "deprecated" for us. We have already switched the Google Webservice tool to Qt Network Authorization, and we plan to do the same for the other tools - when we have time. We will therefore not make any further changes until we switch to Qt Network Authorization. I think the easiest way at the moment will be to leave the message box open for a limited time and then carry on. Leave the images that were not transferred in the list so that the upload can be initiated manually again. Maik |
