Attachments: | menus are grayed out |
NOTE: previous version worked perfectly fine I can confirm this on Windows 10, it happens when the file is open from explorer, applies to .kra files as well as any other image using this method. Opening Krita first, then dropping the file inside the window, or using the file>open menu doesn't have this issue. For me the issue is that when I open an image, the menu items are greyed out as long as I don't select a layer first. (thought it was read-only at first, too) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 490375 *** |
Created attachment 171149 [details] menus are grayed out SUMMARY Krita Can't edit files for no good reason. It looks like files are opened read-only or something. I have only observed this behavior by opening files that reside on a Google Drive folder, but I can't tell if it happens elsewhere. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Have image files on Google Drive, synced to PC 2. Open file 3. Several menus are grayed-out OBSERVED RESULT Menus are grayed-out EXPECTED RESULT File should be editable and all commands available SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 11 (latest stable) macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: N/A (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Krita Version: 5.2.3 (git 68d178c) Installation type: installer / portable package Hidpi: true Qt Version (compiled): 5.15.7 Version (loaded): 5.15.7 OS Information Build ABI: x86_64-little_endian-llp64 Build CPU: x86_64 CPU: x86_64 Kernel Type: winnt Kernel Version: 10.0.22621 Pretty Productname: Windows 10 Version 2009 Product Type: windows Product Version: 10 Locale Languages: en_US, en, en_Latn_US C locale: C QLocale current: en QLocale system: en QTextCodec for locale: UTF-8 Process ACP: 65001 (UTF-8) System locale default ACP: 1252 (ANSI - Latin I)
