Trying to open the skype tray context menu

SUMMARY
Clicking on the tray icon does not open the skype window. Right clicking on the tray. This only happens on wayland. Does not happen on X11 session.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Run skype for linux in plasma wayland session
2. Try to interact with the try icon

OBSERVED RESULT
Skype context menu does not appear. Context menus for other icons appear instead of the skype context menu.

EXPECTED RESULT
Skype context menu appears on right click.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Gentoo Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.1
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.3.0
Qt Version: 6.7.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
When clicking on the skype tray icon a "Remote control requested" dialog appears, requesting access for "input devices". I allowed it.

This is a bug in skype
Comment 2 APTX 2024-10-14 07:16:45 UTC
I'm happy to report that this is fixed in 6.2. Clicking on the tray icon works as it did on X11.

I don't really know what change fixed it. The package manager claims skype has not been updated since I reported the issue.
