Heh oops. This is probably an app that should be excluded from fake session restore. Not sure if we have the power to do this in the app itself, or if it'll have to be added as an exception in the fake session restore feature, which would be a bit ugly. On Plasma 6.3.1 and Spectacle 24.12.2 with the above mentioned STEPS TO REPRODUCE, Spectacle starts automatically for me and takes a rectangular region screenshot on startup... Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20250223 KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.11.0 Qt Version: 6.8.2 Kernel Version: 6.13.4-1-default (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland *** Bug 503531 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** relevant code is plasma-workspace/startkde/session-restore we should add a custom key into the .desktop entry "X-KDE-NoRestore" set that on spectacle and check it in restore.cpp where we lookup the service file (~line 90) |
