cannot uninstall knotes, i dont want this, it's infuriating to just randomly have 20 notes appear on my desktop after using the copy paste function a few times in an app;

there's no way to uninstall  thought ui which is insane, make an option to uninstall permanently without having to modify a config file

It's not a separate widget you can uninstall, indeed: it's a part of the kdeplasma-addons repo. So you would need to uninstall the whole repo. The fact that this repo is a random grab bag of widgets is no ideal, but we don't have a clean path towards changing it, sorry.

In the meantime, it sounds like what you actually want to do is disable middle-click-paste-to-create-new-sticky note. To do this:

1. Right-click on the desktop > Desktop & Wallpaper 
2. Go to "Mouse Actions" tab
3. Find where it says "Middle Button" and change the action to something else, or delete it.
