I have the same issue, also on Fedora. Would not have used the feature anyway, but was confused what was going on when the same applications were opened regardless of what I had opened before reboot. Finally found the setting to turn it off completely. Any workaround ? I was able to find it thanks to some community guidance. Settings > Desktop Session > Changed to start with an empty session. That cleared everything out. All the literature about Plasma 6.1 and most of the info I found online called it Persistent Apps. The OS (Fedora 40) had it in Desktop Sessions. One needs to be changed. If anyone wondering, you must let the "start with an empty session" selected. Selected it will not clear the corrupted state. |
