SUMMARY

After proxy is finished generating, the program freezes.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. add a large video file to the project (20.3GB 4k 60fps 48:04 HEVC)
2. save your project
3. watch proxy generation finish
4. kill the frozen program
5. open your project again, decline to recover since we saved anyways
6. enable proxy for the clip and it will immediately succeed

this fresh project had the same issue, using yesterday's daily build kdenlive-master-8737-windows-gcc-x86_64.exe

where can I find the log file? I checked the project folder, AppData, and ProgramFiles, but couldn't find a log file anywhere

Please try with the actual version 24.08.3. This crash, when opening an existing project should be solved now.
