So everything drawn by the plasmashell process (panels, desktop) was unresponsive and you had to kill and restart it to fix the issue? Do I have that right? Does the issue happen on X11, Wayland, or both? Does the issue happen in a new clean user account as well? I'm using the x11 graphics environment and it's just that the panel isn't responding. I'm using someone else's GUI installer, and there is an alarm administrator by default, and I'm a standard account(actor). You can take a look at the attachment. Created attachment 170442 [details]

Thanks. If you right-click on the desktop, does it show a context menu? Also, does the issue happen on Wayland too? And what kind of GPU do you have?
