SUMMARY
In Fedora Kinoite 40, I tried to install MS Core Fonts from Font Management "Get New Fonts..."

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. In System Settings, Font Management
2. Click "Get New Fonts..."
3. Choose "MS True Type core fonts by SeanParsons"
4. Click Install

OBSERVED RESULT
The modal that says you may have to restart apps to see new fonts appears like normal, but the MS fonts don't appear in the font list.

I clicked "Get New Fonts" again, and clicked "MS True Type core fonts by SeanParsons" again, and another modal popped up saying "This item is currently in an invalid or unknown state". Please see attachment "Screenshot_20240611_203936.png"

Successful installation of the MS core fonts

When I try to install this font from the dialog, I get an error message that says:

> Cannot install 'MS True Type core fonts' because it points to a web page. Click here to finish the installation.

Did you not see the same thing?

Nate,

Nope, that's not what I see. Please see the two new attachments. I tried installing it with the Install button in Get New Fonts, and then I tried again by clicking the font's card, and then trying to install from there. There is a screen cap of an odd transparent pane that appears over the modal I'm using.

Please let me know if I can provide more info.

Ah, this issue. It's fixed in Frameworks 6.4.
