Description Luca Allulli 2024-06-04 07:19:49 UTC
On X11, in a multimonitor setting, Plasma doesn't remember the relative position of monitors. Every time I disconnect and connect again an external monitor, I have to open Display Configuration and rearrange my monitors to reflect their physical position on my desktop.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: Manjaro, Linux 6.6.32-1
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.2.0
Qt Version: 6.7.1

Possibly I was mislead by a different "issue": in the Display Configuration plasmoid, the behavior of "Extend to left" and "Extend to right" buttons is inverted with respect to Plasma 5. Thus, every time I select "Extend to right", my laptop monitor is placed to the left of my external monitor.
