SUMMARY
Assuming you have at least 3 virtual desktops all in a row. When performing the gesture to switch virtual desktop to the right (or to the left) very fast, the current desktop moves 2 desktops to the right (or to the left) instead of moving to the neighbouring one.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Setup 3 or more virtual desktops all in a row (I have 4)
2. swipe as fast as you can on the right or the left

OBSERVED RESULT
The neighbouring desktop of the current one is skipped

EXPECTED RESULT
The neighbouring desktop of the current one should not be skipped

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.2.0
Qt Version: 6.7.1

I don't think this is the same bug. In the other bug it is quite the opposite: if going too slow, you can move 2 desktops. This does not happen to me with Plasma 6, no matter how slow I swipe. My issue appears when swiping fast.

Hi, the report in BUG 478321 says " Quick swipes are show it, but a slow swipe will allow you to go two desktops as well if you don't stop." I interpret that as saying that if you swipe quickly, the issue always occurs, and the issue sometimes occur if you swipe slowly. Given that the two reports appear to have the same underlying cause, I am going to remark this as a duplicate. Thanks for understanding!
