Hello,

I am trying to resolve my dependence on VSCode on my Plasma Desktop and started using Kate more regularly.

One feature I am particularly missing is the GIT Conflict Solver like displayed on that page for example: https://blog.kulman.sk/using-vscode-as-git-merge-tool/

Is it technically feasible to implement this, as a plugin for example? 

I don't know if the kind of textarea Kate/Kwrite is using would be able to support clickable buttons like this?
