Description Henning 2024-05-09 14:12:13 UTC
I use MullvadVPN which manages the system internet connection, DNS and wireguard profiles on a deep level.

When disconnecting it locks internet connection, when connecting it enables a wireguard VPN tunnel that is also shown and detected by the OS.

MullvadVPN itself shows a notification on connection, so I want to disable this notification:

Network management
wg0-mullvad
the connection was enabled

I click on the "configure" button on the message and it brings me to a settings page where I can configure the notifications of the network management.

I disable "connection activated" and "connection added", assuming this is about the VPN connections.

It may also be that VPN connections are not controlled by these settings, so that there is a missing option for VPNs.

Because even after disabling these, the message still shows.
